Master's Message
December 2007

Dear Brethren,

As I approach the end of my term as Worshipful Master for 2006/2007, and pen my final Master's message, I am reminded of my Obligation to dispense Masonic Light and Knowledge to the Brethren. The Master's Message is the primary vehicle used by the Worshipful Master to meet this Obligation, and I have expended much time and thought on the composition of my Messages. Over the past two years, I have received many compliments and encouraging comments on my Messages, and this leads me to believe that I was successful in living up to my Master's Obligation. To all who enjoyed my words, rest assured that writing my Messages was an enjoyable and deeply rewarding task. I would be remiss in my duties if I did not acknowledge the support and encouragement of my Lodge Officers and Members. As I have stated previously, the mentoring process never really ends, and the friendly counsel whispered in my ear was of great assistance to me in making decisions to guide our Lodge through difficult times. In closing I would like to state that my term as Worshipful Master of our Lodge has left me with a much better understanding of Freemasonry, and has made me a better man. I will cherish the memories of my term in the East forever.

Thank you.

Fraternally,
James T. Lind
Worshipful Master
