Dear Brethren,
I can't believe that summer is almost over!! It seems like the gavel just sounded in the East yesterday. I'm going to miss the sound of the pool filter motor, the screaming kids, the exploding barbecue grill and the very hot weather. I hope everyone had a safe and healthy summer and I am looking forward to seeing you in Lodge soon.
This month we will be getting back into the swing of things real quick. The Lyndhurst Masonic Club has a busy schedule ahead starting the first week this month. The district also has a few very important events coming up. The Lodge meets only once this month but we have a lot to cover and a lot to catch up on that night too. Brethren, the full support of every member of this Lodge is needed for all of these events. Just look at the calendar and see what is happening. Every date is an enjoyable event, so why not take advantage of it and come on out and join us.
At our meeting on the 16th, two new brethren will be taking their final examination. They show a real interest in Masonry and seem to enjoy the work. I would appreciate a good attendance so we can welcome them with open arms into our great Fraternity. They came through via the one day class and I'm sure they have many unanswered questions that we can "help, aide and assist" them with.
And finally, if you know of a brother that was always pretty active, and you haven't seen them in a while either in Lodge or around town, maybe he needs to hear from you. A phone call or knock on the door goes a long way. Maybe he just needs a ride. This IS what we are all about.
Fraternally Yours,
Edward T. Gasior W.M.
