Dear Brethren,

As we now enter the "meridian" of this Masonic year, it's a good time to look back at the previous months as well as look at the months ahead. We attended Grand Lodge and elected new officers to represent us. Now it is up to them to carry out their work on our behalf and with our support.

We also participated in an "Evening of Renewal" within the District, and with it attracted three fine gentlemen who wish to join our great Fraternity. Each one from a different walk of life, a different town, and of different ages. Yet, they all have one common interest. Becoming a Mason!

In the upcoming months we will be initiating them into our fraternity. Let us get together and work to help them through the degrees and assist them when needed. It will be a learning experience for them as well as for us. We should all put together and help in all of the degrees so that they may see how we, as Masons, work. The aid and assistance of all the brethren is always welcome.

Let us all open up our little black (now blue) cipher book and brush up on our ritual. Let us look sharp and show these men what we are all about. There is nothing greater than seeing a full Lodge at every meeting with full participation by all.

We will also be hosting a "Gold Token Night" for our brothers who have been here OVER 50 YEARS! Now that is an accomplishment! Come on out on the 18th and join me in celebrating their 50 "plus" birthdays. They deserve all the recognition we can give them.
